Kings are crap!

I've lost 3 times in a row with them against the aces. I need to be calibrated to be able to lay down those dudes :| I also lost a 4th time against AQ, but luckily it didn't matter in the end in that tourney as I juust made it to the qualifier ticket for the 200K GTD. Besides that it hasn't been a good week. I still need the edge to kick some behind.

The assignment drew out.. I'm working with an embarrising lousy tool at work and it is so energy draining. I'm almost done now and expect to finish on Monday. Then the road should be cleared for a shitload of poker :) I'm almost considering a del *.* at the root so I can't be assigned yet another crap-assignment with that tool :| Ive promised to help my brother out getting some dough in the weekend so I won't play here either. Soon... SOON

Special assignment postpones poker

I've gotten a last minute special assignment at work which means I have to postpone poker a little. I'm planning to go bonus harvesting at danske spil poker. They also have qualifiers for DM in poker so if I can make these I'll have a go.. I think I'll play some poker Wednesday or Thursday.

Radio silence will end soon

I haven't been in tip top condition lately so I decided to have a little off regarding poker. I engaged in some home page development and I'm more or less about to end that tomorrow. Then from Monday on I plan my actual poker pro sampling about 3 weeks ahead of that. Hopefully my success from the last post will continue then on. See you soon ;)

Not resulting in good income, but the positions bring some joy as they tell me my current strategy works. Tmorrow I'll have a break and spend with the misses. Then on Monday it's back to work.

I can't...I simply can't..

It is so damn aggrevating and frustrative when some good play is beated by luck. I just played two tournaments. One of them I've located a fish and calls his allin with AK. He has A9 and hits his 9. In the other I have 88 and is risen by the cheaplead at the table. In his infinite wisdom he calls my allin with A7s. He hits his A and I'm out. Not making my day better for sure.

Abandoning the pokerfest

The last week has been pretty tough physically and psykologically. Mainly because I haven't been able to get my sleep properly. Most of the times I've been woken by noisy neighbours or damned doves playing Pavarotti just outside my window. The night to yesterday I only got 4 hours of sleep and decided to drop the pokerfest at party poker. The crappy SW for mermaid poker somehow suddently locked me out of a tournament (and kept my entry €). I complained about it but don't want to help debugging the problem. I just want my money so I can leave that lousy company. Also I can't enter any tournaments via their client anymore so something is vastly scr*wed with their software. I have a considerable reduction of my bankroll, mostly due to the extraordinary buyins I've been doing during the pokerfest. These will be considerately lower in normal days. I'm not given up at the poker pro dream yet. But it has made me think - just a little. :P My next goal will still be to advance in the low buy-in tournaments to see about the profitability.
