Ending the last tourney just before the money. I call a pre-flop allin with QQ. Looking at AT. He hits his ACE. Lost 2/3 chance. Then I'm low stack and need to make a move. Allin with 9Ts.. Flop: J9T. Two diamonds. I'm lokking at 3d3h. Runner, runner flush. Not a good period, not a good period...

You name it I loose it. Mayority of coinflips and mayority of 2/3 chances. Really not helping on both the mood and my bankroll. Looking forward for next week where I'll initiate a week of poker. Yeh!

No cards and bad luck

I played a multitude of tournaments yesterday. I didn't hit anything worth playing. Preflop nothing and when I had something and went for the flop nothing again. I tilted a little but caught myself in it and decided to be patient. Then when I ot KK in one tourney as low stack and went allin one dude called with JJ and hit his J. A little positive thing was my trial of a new tournament 10K$ GTD 20$ rebuy which I went into the price positions in. I played a with a lack of routine when I went out with JJ against AA post-flop. But I guess it's ok. Some house owner nearby has decided to renovate his house so I was blessed with craftsmen waking me up @9. Annoying as I went to bed @4.

Sickening bad luck.

My bad luck continues.

I played the ussual tournaments tonight. In the 3$K GTD far into the tourney I have AA and one dude before me is allin. I call and look at the QQ. Crap,crap,crap,crap,Q. Another 80% chance lost. Recently that makes 3/4 lost.

In the 3K€ on Mermaid I'm also getting close to the final table. Some dude has raised mid. I call in late with AK and Chip lead is allin from early. I call and look at AJ. Crap, Crap ,J, crap, crap. That a 2/3 chance lost.

I end in the money in the 5K GTD as 16/301 but it's hilariously little money that gives.

Idiot fish!

Ok, I'm playing a 5K$ GTD freezeout. Ive pointed out a fish. So I'm playing hard on this setup (TT):

When he's hesitating I'm pretty sure I have him. Setting him allin on the turn. River 4. Arrrrgh!.

Later in the turney as 41 (prices for top 40) I have this setup (AQ):

I'm defending my flop by going allin. Turn: 10. River crap. Not helping on the mood!

Luckily later in the 3K GTD freezeout I'm allin with 87s against 99. Preflop I only have ~18%. But I hit a straight and end in the price positions. But after around 5 hours I'm even-Steven. Aaargh... Double Aargh!

Moving forward again :)

After the crappy Friday I end up as 7/147 in a 3k$ gtd 55$ buyin as well as ending in the price positions in a little handfull of sit n gos. So Ive almost recovered. Good stuff :)

Crappy poker weekend :(

My gf was out Friday which presented a good opportunity for some poker. But even though I felt pretty good, I din't hit any cards and lost all tournaments I played. Frustrating. But with the visit by the mates yesterday and some mandatory beers and live poker the good mood returned as well as a couple of winnings :) Friday I tried the 2nd sub qualifier for WSOP 30 was playing and top 3 got seats in the actual qualifier. The luck wasn't with me as I went out as 6th with my AQ against 55 preflop allin. Maybe I'll have another go later :) Let's see what the new week brings.

Bad beat evening :( +self beat. Buuut..

I played the 5K GTD freezeout at partypoker @17:15. After a couple of hours I have to make a move and I'm allin with 99. one dude calls with 55. He hits his 5 and 20% chance of that sends me out.

Then I'd advance to step 4 in partypokers step challenges. I'm sitting with KK and a Russian is setting me allin after I raised from early. Some dude calls the allin from late. I'm taking a chance and call. I'm up against AKs from the allinner, JJ against the late call. Crap, crap, crap, crap ..... Ace. Byebye. Of course the river. Damn! In the 3K GTD rebuy at mermaid I'm approcahing the price positions. I'm raising a dude that made a bet and he re-raises me. I'm sitting with QQ and don't have a read on him. Flop: 777. I'm allin and he shows me his kings :( Bye bye.

But it's not all bad :) I won an entry to the $200K GTD at partypoker. So once again I'll get a shot at their 2nd largest tourney... In a Sunday to be specified.

2/174 on Mermaid 3K€ GTD rebuy

Chok chok chok!! I managed it to the final table without that many chips. But I'm patient and they hit each other out. I'm actually satisfied with a 6th place, but they kick each other out. When we're 3 left I have the kings and I'm positioned 2nd. 3rd sets me allin and that's an instant call. He has KJ. YES!.. .. .. River finishes his straight ........ ARRRRGH (9,5% chance of winning against my kings)!! I'm barely in now only having 4 Big blinds .... ;) .... I don't really observe it as I'm playing another table. But they're fightig a table with AAKKT. They're both allin and the chiplead has a full house with K8s against no 2's JJ. That saves my day! :)

WSOP sub-qualifier

Party poker is running a lot of qualifiers for WSOP so I thought I'd have a go at it starting with a 2$ rebuy 1GTD seat. I went 1st and now have a ticket to the 80$ sub-qualifier. If I can get in top 10% I might get an entry for the qualifier in which 1/20 gets an entry to WSOP. Hehe a long way yet... but the chance lives on ;)

Another final table while waiting

My girlfriens is at work and I just woke up to a rebuy at 12. Starting out with 98 persons and I ended up as 5. Also had a little success at the cash table 0.25/0.50. Good stuff. But now it's brake from poker this weekend. It has been interesting and has shown some nice prospects ;)

and some other price positions also today. I've not been 100% clear in my head due to too little sleep. But it's ok. I'm really looking forward to going full time because I played a little out of rutine today and fulltime is quite likely to improve my game. Now I'll enjoy a well deserved Leffe and some food.

Good shape but not many bucks

.. However I finished 12/522 and got a little for the effort in the 10k gtd rebuy at party poker. But playing for around 6 hours it would have been nice to ship a little more. I got a 7th place in a 5k gtd shorthanded freezeout which was enough to hit the price positions as 18x I think it was, was particIpating. In the other shorthanded I went out as the bubble boy (just before the money). But all in all good signs that I'm using the right strategy. Now I need to catxh some sleep so I can be ready again tomorrow :)

A little unlucky

I plaed a couple of tourneys as my girlfriend was at work. In one I was up against KK and QQ in a 3 way allin with my AA. the dude with QQ hits his queen on the river :( later in another tourney I'm down at 700 with 100 as big blind. Im allin withh KK and two calls. One with A9h and one with 66. Ace lkicks my butt this time. Making it difficult for me to hit some price positions today. As I don't hit anything it a pretty slow evening. Returning to the tables tomorrow :)

March first blood

I drawed the first blood of March tonight :) Went to the price positions in two tournaments. Including a final table 4/178 in a 3k$ gtd freezeout. First I thought I was in bad luck when my KK was raped by 46d in a 3 way allin where JJ also was represented. But the god of luck smiled at me and in the 3k gtd I hit a set in KKK and that doubled me against AA. In a sit n go at the same time I was naughty and hit a straigyt with also KK against AA. not proud but love it :P Then Im getting some practice in shorthanded sit n gos and got some coin there as well. Inverse statistics :(

Ive played a handfull of tournament tonight and got in the price positions in the 5k€ gtd. At some point I hit the KK. Betting from early. Some dude is raising me considerately and I call. Flop: xxQ in diamonds. He's allin and I call. He shows AK with one diamond. But that's not what gets me. A-5 straight. Kicks me down from 4th to 16/16. The dude from before raises ~2xBB, I have AT and go allin. He calls with JQ . XxTXQ. So loosing the 2/3 chance with the kings and then the 60% chance with AT. In the 10K$ rebuy on Partypoker I call with 8T hearts and the flop is 7h8cJh. I'm allin and some flushdraw idiot calls with A2h. Turn is a heart and I loose yet another 2/3 chance. Frustrating as hell when playing good and gettong beaten by luck. The only comfort is that this will bring gold in the long run. Good night.
