Close to my most unlucky night (WTF!?)

(A) Playing a 22$ freezeout 5K GTD. Getting AA. Two guys have raised a little before me so I'm raising a little to get at least one of them out. 2nd dude goes allin with KK. "Who hits his K - any guesses?". Bye bye. I can live with that. Annoying but ok.

(B) Playing a 5K GTD rebuy 10$ buyin. Getting AA in 2nd hand. 3 dudes has +2 raised before me. I din't want the challenge so I severely raises. Then idiot 1+2+3 is allin. Ok let's go. JJ,JJ,77. Ok this looks bright for a quadruobling of my chips :D... But "oooooh f*cking no" no. 3 gets his liiiiitle 7. MAN!

But hey it's not over yet! The Anal Assault (the name for the Aces if you recall) continues.

(C) Playing the 100K qualifier 11$ rebuy. Some low stack has 4-raised in the late position when I sit with KK (most of his stack, pot comitting him). FLOP: K,T,9 ... turn x, river............... J. Giving straight for AQ as we're both allin.

So actually this goes beyond "Anal Assault". I'l baptise this the "Brutal Anal Assault". Good the evening is still young!

Another final table at the 10K GTD 11$ rebuy

6/4xx. Good stats as I hit the 5th last week also :) Unfortunately a dude hit a full house when I hit the nut flush and send me out. Crap! so close to 3K$

I just got my arse kicked in a 5$ rebuy tourney. AAARGH! SO annoying!

We where ~50 left from 548 when I'm looking down at the Jacks smilling at me and while they're saying "hey big boy, wanna party?!". Low stack is allin with 4 times BB (=16000). Some aggresor calls and then it's my turn. I know he LOVES pairs but not neccessarily sitting with the high ones. So I decide to set him allin so he won't be a threat with a low pair (that's about his stack). But "oh no Alejandro!" Mr. Numbnut sits with 99 and there's NO better hands than that!! So what do we see of cards???? Well the ones I remember is 22 and 9. "Oh why Carsten, why tell us!". Ok I'll tell you - because low stack sits with 22 and as mentioned before numb-nut with 99. So instead of getting to top 3 I get 5 ice cold toes in my butt out of that tourney. Arrrgh!..... Arrgh! .... Ah! :(

One month of fulltime poker :|

Chok! A lot of time.. and not that much surplus ;( If I count the earnings from Casino CPH I've earned about 1/4 of a salary from my current job. I didn't play that well the first two weeks so there's still a possibility I can  make it happen when applying ninja tricks :P

I kinda like that I can do some development in the daytime and then rock at the poker clients at night time being my on boss. It is still very difficult to cope with that bad beats when I get many in a row. That's really tough for the psyke but I'll try to deal with it. Enjoying a "Fynsk Forår" beer and some nice psy trance in the ears. I'll be back, see ya ;)

All rebuys. Good statistics but not that many bucks :(

The final table took 6:45. And what better way to go than with my KK against AQ where he hits his QQ? Pretty annoying!

So I've just returned from a run and I've cleaned up my apartment so I deserve a nice load of poker :)... .... ... Ok so I sit down in a 2K tourney, 22$ buyin. After a couple of hands I get the rockets, yeah baby there's going to be blood (drooling!):

So I'm sitting as Big blind and await the others. I don't want PEOPLE WITH RANDOM CARDS to call so I put some heat on them by raising to ~14xBB:

So two guys call and as the flop shows King high I bet ½ pot. This scares one guy away, but not MR GENIOUS:

No sir'eee! MR GENIOUS is allin. I think "ok high probability he has AK, if I'm unlucky he has KK, but I'm comitted", so I call.

MR. GENIOUS is so proud and happy when he shows:

K9... 14 times Big blind raise, mid position. MR GENIOUS is now addressed as his alter EGO - FUCKTARD!

Well ok there's idiots from time to time. They pay the show. But ok in the next hand I get lucky and get the rockets again. WAUUUUW!:

So I'm allin thinking that they may have set me on tilt. A dude calls with AK - so I'm around 92% favour and the cards keep coming and ultimately presents the shock of the month:

So I'm 20/4xx in a 10K GTD with 2.5K to 1st we're 22 left. I'm on the button and the chiplead clicks just berfore me to 8K. I set him allin with 38K. He thinks and thinks: "Nobody can have a better hand than my 33! - I call" (remember - spoken with a retarded voice!). He hits his 3 and a flush so I'm out. Again this really doesn't help me get the dough!.. The only positive thing is that I'm "in da Zone". I've gotten in the price positions but people are just lucky lately. It's just a matter of time now ;)

My queens are raped.. TWICE. AAARGh!

Two tourneys. In one of them I'm raising a player. He sets me allin and I call - A8 beats my QQ. Instead of going to 5th place I'm blasted down to 20th. In the other another dude has just been beated and is tilting so he sets me allin and again A0 beats my QQ. Mucho MUCHO frustrado! I'm supposed to win 2/3 but I'm raped 2/2. A good mate and former colleagus is home from China so I'll get a couple of beers with him spontanously.

7 tourneys, 3 price positions.. and a bad beat in 5th hour :(

In the bad beat tourney I finish 31/7xx. PRETTY annoying that one stupid Russion has to call a allin with AT and hit his TT on Turn+River. Kills my KK.

My first live tourney :)

There goes my live tourney virginity :P I played a 250 dkk buyin tourney at casino cph yesterday and went 1/30. It was ugly unfortunately. But it seems like some of the lately unluck is getting balanced :) ugly since my AK beated AA... And then on the river with a straight. Never the less I played solid the rest of the time and in the end I was up against 3 players whom I just needed to let kick each other other. They were quite passive so I gave them a helping hand :P One dude was playing quite loose in the beginning and showed his hand at quite some occasions. Due to this I called one of his allins and were presented coin (hehe, to quote Spartacus series) as his outside straight draw didn't take him home with his 1/3 chance when I hit a top pair with my KQ. Later I went allin with QQ against 77. A straight also proved profitable as I milked an inexperienced, but though beautiful chick :P I have a remotely bad conscience for kicking one of my mates out of the tourney in the end. But you can't really take friendship into consideration when you're playing poker as the stocastic nature can "boomerang" back at you. However I repaid the semi-bad deed with beer later on :)

I made it to a final table! First time in about 5000 years. Finally some bucks to GOP (God Of Poker). Also hit the price positions in a couple of other tourneys. So finally a decent day. Although ugly as hell with a runner, runner bad beat of the aces with my AT (got a flush) I gladly receive the 2nd place.
