VERY close at quitting poker today.

This might be the most insane badbeat day of my poker career. Loosing 2x92% chances and 1 82% chance,  it's so ridiculous!

First is Bigger tournaments on Stars.æ I hit a set of queens. On a KQx flop. An einstein re-raises my bet through the ceiling. And I can already now understand that he's left his brain somewhere. I don't want to set him allin because that might let him go for a flushdraw so I call. Turn is something irellevant so here I set him allin and he calls. I found out that he had top pair with AK and he hit runner runner flush. His 8% holds.

The other is a Sit'n'Go. Einstein 2 has raised 4x BB from early position BB=60, so I re-raise to 480. Einstein 2 calls, from Russia I think. Flop: 658. He goes allin. I call and he shows 22. Turn: x, River 2.

The main menu of tonight is the Storm at 19:30 Stars. 300K$ pool. I've +2 raised from late position with Ah9d and a poker god calls. Flop: 2d 6d 9s. I bet ~½pot the god raises to the pot or above I call.
Turn: 9h, I bet +½ pot and he goes allin. I call and he sits with Ad Td. River ....... Diamond. 18% chance to him.

Doing everything perfect and no win, senseless.

How I hate to make an intelligent move and make an idiot entity beat me. We've been playing for 5 hours.

Well, if you're still here Id' like to introduce you to Fuckface. Fuckface is from Romania and has even less brain cells than his brother Shitface which comes from Russia. Now you're introduced, let me tell you the story about when I played against fuckface:

I was playing this tournament and I'd been playing fairly well and reached the final table after more than 5 hours gaming. Maybe closer to 6. BUT! then I've read this player from Romania... you guessed riight Fuckface. Fuckface is an aggressive player, because he saw in TV that you're supposed to be aggressive, never mind your hand is crap, "be aggressive son" ... his father said before they went to bed together. Lol! Well sorry I really don't like him for this reason:

OOOOK! I'm sitting as Small Blind with an ok hand KJ of clubs. I thought I'd try to limp as I saw he was aggresive:

Right on. Not surprisingly Fuckface raises:

I make a call and see a sweet flop. I check... BEcause he's aggresive:

Fuckface laughs a little "tihihihi, let me be bad and bet like a have a hand":

"That might very well be so son, but I don't believe you" I think. So I make a steady raise to 133K/204K.

Now I don't really know what happens in Fuckfaces head but he re-raises to 209K/337.

"Hm, that was quite interesting" .. At this point I get a little worried... But I don't believe Fuckface so I call. The Turn is 5 of diamonds and I check as he could be lucky beyond any belief, he checks:

River is queen of clubs. I check as I'm still worried:

Then I'm lowstack and have to make a move with A4s that he beats with TT. I hope he dies a horrible death. It was "only" a 5K GTD 5.5 - 2 rebuys + 1 Addon tourney so it wasn't that naughty a price... But worthwhile.

Give me a break.

Wanted to build my bankroll on stars 2day, but..

Loosing a 80%, 60% and 60% chance in row makes that pretty difficult. Tried to focus on shorthanded sit'n'gos, but as (too many) times before I was unlucky. Maybe their pokerengine is different from partypoker which makes it difficult for me. Not sure. Or else I'm just damn unlucky and that's it. Well trying to hit some bucks in 3 tourneys instead. Went into the money in 3 tourneys yesterday. Not big, but at least a little encouraging :)

We're talking 10 mins blinds. It's the progression of your stack given that the blinds alone eat it :). From this you can define your aggressiveness.

Checking the idiocy of Russians.

Righyoh. So I wanted to check how far this nutcases will go. Therefore I was a bad boy and limped with QQ. One dude behind me 3 betted 40->120. He was loose so I didn't think he had something bad. Then I spotted this nutcase in an early position who calls 120. I thought "Right on let's check out these psykos" so I raised to 555. I had 6K behind me whereaas the two other dude around 2K. Numbnut (NN) 1+2 calls. Flop is 3 low cards.

I double him and NN2 calls. ???

Any guesses?

hehe, well NN1 has 66. And NN2 KK (which is fair). But KK-dude a.k.a NN2 just went allin the hand before from late with 44, so I didn't expect much from him. But yeah, conclusion. These suckers should be found and then you just have to milk their chips... Lucky bastard!

I played ok. Doubled at one point when I was getting low as I hit my queen on a coinflip with AQ against TT. Then I didn't catch anything and had to rock in the end. Sitting as SB with 88. One dude that had been playing loose doubles the bet on the button as 1st actor or just before. I have 7k and the blinds are 600/1200. I go allin and it's me against loosy-dude. He shows JTs and hits his J. 5 hours and $376 bye bye. But I had to rock. I knew he was loose and he might as well have been sitting with A-crap. It was the best hand for quite some time and I was affraid of getting eaten by the blinds. Got some good practice with some of the pros here.

44/5982 (Big 5.5) and 232/5477 (Big 8.8) @ pokerstars.

Some quite decent results ranking wise. The prices were crap, but it was some good training for reaching the top in these tourneys :) Top 1%... myeah.. ;) Made some killer bluffs and I was also a little lucky to hit some good 50/50s. Later ;)

Ok, I've been playing this 5.5 rebuy tourney for 6hours+ and I'm 7/15: Start entrants 700+, Blinds are 4.5K/9K. I'm sitting with QQ UTG and double the big blind. Chiplead sitting just before the button raises me +2. I call.

Flop: TT6.

I bet ~1/3, he calls.

Turn: 9.

I bet -½ pot. and he sets me allin.... ?!...

Any guesses?

Yes of course he raised me with T3 suited.

So I'm doing my new thing: Focussing on less games at the time. It's starting to get interesting in a "Big" tournament on pokerstars. ~5K players and I'm In the money at -top 675. I've spotted some aggresive dudes and two of these double the BB. I'm sitting with KK and re-raise the pot From 2000->6350. This Russian ...... Entity.... Goes allin with more than my stack and I call instantly. He has 99. Flop: 99J. Bye bye..... AAARGH!

OK I can live with one bad beat even though it's quite tough to swallow. Late I'm getting VERY close in a 4.5 GTD freezeout 22$ buyin. Top 40/3xx is paid and I think there's 47 left. I'm at this point 37ish. The 2nd lowest stack on the table is allin in late- but before me position. He has a little more chips than I but I call. The lead calls also. I was thinking OK probably going to look at a pair from 2nd lowest. But "oh nooo Alejandrooo" AQ... And da-da-daaaah he gets his Q*nt. Chip lead had AK as well. Hate wasting my time and get beaten by luck. especially multiple times a day.
