Trying DC qualification

The qualification for the Danish Championship of poker is started on DanskeSpil.dk. I'll try qualify for that one.

The championship itself will happen in start May. So a lot of time to try to qualify :)

790 / 43359 in PokerStars Sunday Storm.

Good position!

Top 6300 paid.

Not many bucks for the effort, but shows it's possible to get up there.

Bad beats and unlucky setups rained down on me as usual this evening, but in this tourney I was a little lucky once and played by the odds otherwise. First price in this tourney $35K Yeeez. In the end I'm allin with QQ 4xBB OTB. BB is comitted with 20K (2xBB) left and calls with A5, River A.

Couple of hands later I get 6h7h and go allin from early with 2xBB. BB calls with 2h6d. I wonder who wins - SPOILER: He hits flush.

In a $6 rebuy 20K GTD a dude was looking for trouble my making an obvious bet from under the gun. I set him allin with AA and he calls with JJ. I loose ~½ my stack as he hits flush on the river.

in the 300K tourney my QQ couldn't beat a guys AA (which was the 3rd time he got that in 10 hands) on a J high flop.

But when my tourneys were finished I supplied with 3 SnG which I won em all. Right on!

one $22 10 SnG and 2 6 handed $22. I slmost qualified for the WPT sattelite again and yesterday I qualified for the 300K on Sunday so we'll have a go at it again then :D

Then I remember this guy I've met a couple of times "Oreglegios" a Greek dude I think. I played against him in Step 6 on party poker which he beat me in.

I checked him out and found out he's no. 7 on Party poker:

My program is getting tweaked currently. I've made some shortcuts to get the development flowing. Now I need to optimize a little before rockin.

The feature set is done for the poker tool.

The basic functionality on my poker tool is finished. Now I need to brush of some algorithms and mature the program. I also need some hand histories from different sites and different game types to increase the compability with different sites - that means playing some poker :D - Then my plan is to implement copy-protection and in the end a homepage for the tool as well.

I'm still compiling names and I'm not 100% sure what to call it yet.

I need to pimp the graphics a bit also so it doesn't look too dull.

Timeframe? Don't know, don't care :) But I'd say around a month.

11/59 in the WPT sat. 473/1483 in 300K GTD and bubblish in Sunday Storm.

Relatively close to a WPT seat you can say. Top 2 got one and 3-6 had some interesting prices. But I decided to go out of the tourney as an early aggressor got me on my lacking routine. I tripled his early double bet with 99 OTB. He went allin and I took a stupid chance.

The 300K I also played very tight but in the end I had to make a move with ThJh with ~10BB left and was caught by KK.

In the Sunday storm just before the money 6300/40K paid. Some fish is allin just before the button and a loose aggressive guy on the button with chips calls. Nice as I sit with KK as SB - allin!

WPT qualifier Sat. + 300K Sunday.

Alrighty folks.

It's been a while since I played for the WPT, but Saturday we're rockin' again! I won a seat at the qualifier for Barcelona tonight as I made 1/40. I took a lucky call on a top pair/flush draw flop against AA and doubled at a very convienient time and the rest the folks didn't put up much challenge.

Also I qualified for the 300K on Sunday so we're rockin' bigtime this weekend ;)

I also suffered buckets of bad beats as I twice lost my allin turn-straight to the full house river. And Then my JJ didn't hold up against 55 + AK as 55 won with a set in a 3 way allin.

But all in all interesting :D

PC crash when I had QQ + AA.

Playing 4 tourneys here on Sunday, the big poker night.

In two tourneys I look at AA and QQ. I raise from early in the QQ tourney and a loose dude calls. Looking forward to the flop..

The other one I just go allin with AA as a dude raises a lot from early. Luckily I just see me winning with AA. QQ are lost.

Almost WPT satellite :(

I played the 40$ freeze. 4 seats paid (360$ ticket) but ended 6th/40+. I was low on chips in the end and couldn't do much. Went allin OTB with 87 and was called by a highstack with QT. He got full house... mkay...

Bad beat brings tear to my eye.

I'm playing a $6 rebuy. Slowplaying AA from UTG BB 600 40K left. Two fuckups raise 600->1200 call. from mid early. Both having 30-40K stacks.

Ok I better get Rid of them then raising 1200->5000. Both dumbasses call.

Flop: Qh5h8h.

I bet 8K/16.5K. FF1 folds. FF2 allin. I call instantly.

Any guesses on what hand is worth 7½xBB from mid early when UTG re-raises???

Qd8d. I actually hit 2 pairs on the turn but Einstein gets full house on the river.

Oh BTW it was Ace diamond and Ace heart.... OK they pay the show but they also make you feel...  .. .... ... Frustrated.

And seriously made my eyes humid that idiocy of that caliber is rewarded. And almost some nausia as well. JFC!

Impressing myself and getting more convinced of my tool will become a success.

I've made a new and dead sexy (fat bastard voice) feature which just grew on me. It creates a powerful overview of your doings in he world of online poker.

This feature among the other seems to differentiate from the current products on the market... well at least one of them lol, so this increases the chances for a successful launch.

I keep developing and playing poker..... :D

Biggest bad beat ever?

I'm playing the top of my game for the moment but loosing to a fish when I go allin with 99 and getting called with 66, getting kicked out of the tourney that way and then this above makes it VERY difficult to get the bucks rolling. But I know I play better than ini a long time current so I expect reaching some nice buck soon.

BTW, I played a WPT sattelite qualifier 40$ buyin. I'm low on stack and in late position with QQ BB is 120.  An idiot limps from early 120 ~2k left. i raise his bet 120->360 he calls. XXJ. he bets 120/720. I'm allin and FF (Non-disclosed abbreviation, for keeping a relatively decent tone) calls with J4. Turn 4 bye bye. What a jerk.

Ok I've now moved into programatically drawing stuff via the GDI interface on windows and I must admit I'm a little proud of being father to this simple Calendar for starters today:

I'm a little too tired for actually working now so it took some time to figure out the algorithm to draw current month and the adjacent ones, but I got it.

I really start to love .NET! It's so super fast to develop in.

The first I think is against a Rusky. I saw he played a little weird indirectly as I actually was watching the other tourneys at that time, But When we went in a dog fight, I grabbed my cojones and kicked some behind:

The other one was a interesting chance I took. I was quite low on chips and though they had higher cards and Finally some math kicks some ass. Even though I had a little less than 1/3 favor I'm satisfied:

I got a couple of comments on that move :D ... but ok I was a little lucky my guess was semi-right. But no chances no profit!

Tighter than ever

Yeah I know it sounds like a cheesy porn flick, but it's my new strategy. New old that is. I've been playing like that earlier, but I've lured into the bad play by the fish and realized that I have to pull my sh*t together. I looked at the ones with decent amount of chips and saw what they were playing the last couple of days and the pattern is obvious to me. So applying NOW!

I almost hit the money positions in the 8R 17.5K GTD yesterday by this pattern BUT just before ITM I flopped trips... the one I played against a loose agressive dude from Litaunia flopped fulll house and raped me with that one... Actually I aped myself by going allin. But ARGH!

In the 6K GTD 6R on party I went allin relatively close to ITM as well with a straightdraw. The dude I played against had a lot of chips and two overcards so he didn't give a damn and I didn't hit.

earlier in the 6K I went allin on the river with a fullhouse i'd slowplayed I had JJ and flop: AAJ. Muuuum...
Turn crap, just bidding a little. River Q... And of course the last dude had to have AQ. Jeeeeeezus!!

But I'm on for tonight again. Just have to go to the dentist then back and rock.

I'm kicking some ass with my poker tool, digging into multi threading etc. updated some classes to be more ... "correct" :D . Still need some fixes and updates and then the copy-protection before I'm ready to roll. AI, and then the homepage. Yikes :| ... But I'm having a buttload of fun :)

I keep on coming up with ideas for the program. Super great and inspiring :D

I'll still try to focus on some main features and then add the other ones in updates. Otherwise there'll go long time until it's getting released.

I'll probably have to add some unit testing as well because the size is getting considerable :|

But it's cool. I really enjoy this stuff. I'll have to make some icons as well... Maybe I'll ask a mate if he wants to make some graphical stuff :)

Peow. Later just before the money I raise in late with A6. Flop Is A3x. SB called and made a check. I bet 6/14K. He calls. turn is 6. He bets 1/3 I double him and he goes allin. Of course he hits his set of 3s. It's difficult to differentiate between the fish and the regulars. Annoying! But he played that hand well. I should just have read it. Argh! But for once I hit the money in the 17.5K GTD 8$ rebuy. I doubled up at a good point against a lead and that sent me to the money positions. Need to take some more chances at the right points I guess.... Hehe but not on that 5R tourney. Darn!
